This policy sets out how SonYee Flow collect, use, disclose, and manage site-visitors' data. 

What information we collect, use and why

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

We collect or use the following information to provide our services:

How do we collect information?

When you conduct a transaction on our website, submit a review or subscribe to our newsletter, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

Our lawful bases for the collection and use of your data

We have permission from you, for example when you subscribe to our mailing list. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to object. To be clear, you do have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. If you don’t want us to process your data anymore, please contact us.

 In certain circumstances the provision of personal data by you is necessary to enter into a contract. It is your choice as to whether you provide us with your personal data necessary to enter into a contract or as part of a contractual requirement. If you do not provide your personal data then the consequences of failing to provide your personal data are that we may not be able to provide services to you. An example would be failing to sign you up for a Vinyasa Flow class if you decided not to share your contact details with us. 

How long do we keep information?

We keep the length of time that we hold your personal data for under review. These reviews take place annually.

How we might communicate with you

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about SonYee Flow, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.

Who we share information with

SonYee Flow is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  As such, Wix.com acts as a data processor for SonYee Flow. 

 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by SonYee Flow adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by the WIX.com store and its service providers.

We may disclose the personal data you provide to us to HMRC, legal and other regulatory authorities, including those who request your personal data or to report any potential or actual breach of applicable law or regulation; law enforcement agencies, courts or other relevant party, to the extent necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal rights; and third parties where necessary for the purposes of prevention, investigation, detection or prosecution of criminal offences or the execution of criminal penalties.

Sharing information outside the UK

Wix.com can store your data in a number of locations. Your personal information may be stored in data centers located in the United States of America, Ireland, South Korea, Taiwan and Israel. WIX.com may use other jurisdictions as necessary for the proper delivery of their services  and/or as may be required by law.

Wix.com is a global company that respects the laws of the jurisdictions it operates within. The processing of your data may take place within the territory of the European Union, Israel of a third country, territory, or one or more specified sectors within that third country, of which the European Commission has decided that it ensures an adequate level of protection (transfer on the basis of an adequacy decision).

Any transfers to a third country outside of the European Union - which does not ensure an adequate level of protection according to the European Commission - will be undertaken in accordance with the current and updated set of Standard Contractual Clauses, as approved by the European Commission. These terms are set out in the Wix Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

How to complain

If you have any concerns about our use of your personal data, you can make a complaint to SonYee Flow by sending us an email.

 

If you remain unhappy with how we’ve used your data after raising a complaint with us, you can also complain to the ICO.

Your rights in relation to personal data

Right of Access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information. You can request other information such as details about where we get personal information from and who we share personal information with. There are some exemptions which means you may not receive all the information you ask for.
